Care for dry skin should be considered the cause of dryness. If you have had dry skin since childhood, then first you should artificially replenish its lack of fatty lubrication. If the dryness is associated with the aging of the body, besides the use of tools to make up for the lack of sebum, it is necessary to replenish the missing moisture. By the way, it is noticed that dry skin is more common in people with fair hair.

Therefore, it is important to clean dry skin. People with dry skin are recommended for 3-5 minutes before the morning cold water washing to soften the skin with yogurt, cooking oil (but not sunflower - it dries the skin), and then use a lotion or foam for washing. And after washing the wet skin should be smeared with a special cream for dry skin.

In summer it is recommended to use cucumber lotion, prepared by yourself. For this 1/5 part of the dish should be filled with water, and the other 4/5 part should be filled with a mixture of fresh cucumbers grated on a grater. After 8-10 days of infusion, the liquid mass is filtered through gauze.

Those who have dry skin associated with age, it is recommended to apply oily cream in a special “wet method. To do this, apply the oily cream on a cotton pad soaked in slightly salted water and apply it to the skin with gentle pressing and patting motions. Salt water is also an excellent remedy for loose skin. It is better to use sea salt, but without dyes and fragrances.

With dry skin, it is good to apply kefir, sour cream, yogurt. Lactic products apply to the skin for a few minutes before washing.

Of the old remedies worthy of attention are: 100-150 г. Black bread boiled, let it swell, cool the mass and rub the face with it, and then rinse with room water.

For dry skin it is recommended to eat food rich in fats, carbohydrates and vitamins A (fish oil, eggs, milk, vegetables). One should abstain from spices and alcohol.

It can happen that a dry face can have a shiny chin or nose. These should be cleansed with lotion.

If the skin is parched and irritated, wipe it with an oily infusion of St. John’s wort (one part of the flowers in two parts of vegetable oil for three weeks).

Egg mask. Mash one egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of fresh sour cream or vegetable oil. The mixture applies to the face for 15-20 minutes and then washed off with warm water.

Cottage cheese mask. Mash two tablespoons of fresh cottage cheese with 1 tablespoon of milk and 1 teaspoon of honey. The mixture applies to the face for 20-30 minutes, then remove with a cotton swab moistened with warm water.

Yolk-honey-oil mask. Yolk of one egg mixed with 50 g of liquid honey and 50 g of any vegetable oil. For dry skin, this mask should be applied once a week. The mask is applied for 20-30 minutes and then washed off with warm water.

Sour cream mask is both nourishing, toning and bleaching. Put 2 yolks in 100 grams of sour cream and knead it well. Then pour 25 grams of vodka and the juice of a lemon into the resulting mixture. The mask is put on for 15-20 minutes and then washed with warm water.

Paraffin-oil (softening) mask. Melt 7 g of paraffin, 10 g of cocoa butter, 3 g of spermaceti and 10 g of peach oil, mix well and let cool down. Before using, melt (you can do it in a tablespoon) a small amount of this mixture and apply it with absorbent cotton on your face. In 10-20 minutes remove the film formed.
